In an answer one scholar's question Ml. Ashraf Ali Thanvi rahimahullah replied, "Yes indeed, there is great joy in two marriages, however, this joy is like the paradise which requires one to cross a fine bridge (siaat).
When I did my second marriage, then people from family of my first marriage started saying that you have now open the way for men to conduct a second marriage. I told them, "No, in fact I have closed it. Whoever will see it, shall not engage in it, rather will say "and do not draw closer to this tree".
See, we have this scale which judges equitable distribution. I call it the scale of justice. One has to be extremely cautious and sometimes it brings about difficulty. But I am content that difficulty brings rewards as well. Although I have requested from each house to excuse Rs. 1 worth of miss-distribution yet I try and be as precise as possible.
However, all these difficulties are imaginations. Otherwise once a person intends to do an action, he carries it out with ease.
